Needing some sun after the many days that we had spent enjoying the fog of the Oregon coast, suggested by a friend, we headed to Stout Grove. It was made apparent to me that Oregon Natives escape to Stout Grove as needed so that they can get their needed sunshine and I can see why. A full view of the image can be seen here.
I climbed Mt. Helena after a day of work for the State of Montana, late in the evening the sun still above the horizon made the clouds beautiful and cast the long shadow of the mountains across the valley. Oddly enough this photograph was taken near 9 pm and I was still able to find …
Opening with an electric guitar version of “The Star Spangled Banner” this years Kingsburg Swedish Festival Dala Horse Trot was held under much better conditions compared to the year prior. This years Dala Horse Trot competitors were blessed with a run held within the city limits and under mostly shaded streets.
