Taking advantage of the fall color and the warm temperatures the Barnes family and I went out to Woodward Park in North Fresno to take family portraits. With rolling grassy hills and a large pond it was easy to find locations that featured the family as well as the beauty of Woodward Park.

Invited out by my sister and brother-in-law, I spent the evening with my family out watching the jets “bounce”, no this isn’t some sort of top secret rubberized plane that they want to see how high it will bounce after being dropped, it is the term used for practicing landing. Growing up nearby the Lemoore Naval Air Station in Visalia as a kid I often day dreamed about getting a ride in one of these jets and begged for any opportunity to visit the air …

Dustin, Rachel and I had a great time trapsing through the countryside during their engagment shoot, we went to many different fields and a park to capture the images shown here. Rachel was particularly excited about the blossom trail as she had never seen so many tree’s in bloom and wanted to make sure that she could have engagement photographs amongst them. Many thanks to Rachel and Dustin for their attentiveness to getting that perfect photograph for their engagement.
