Fall Sports 2014

Football season starts tonight, honestly I can’t wait, however I won’t be able to make it out there tonight due to some family events that are happening. I’m setting my schedule for Fall 2014, to be posted here soon.

I’ll be praying for no injures tonight for the CVC Cavalier Football team, see you all next week!!

Central Valley Christian Photos Moved

Just wanted to make a post so that everyone could know at the same time. Central Valley Christian’s Photographs have been moved to their own folder on my website. Please visit http://gallery.kjfphoto.com/CVC from here forward to view sports photographs and other images for Central Valley Christian School.

This year I will also be getting back to making individual posts per event as images are posted.

Family Photos

Father, Son, Photo

These family photographs were taken with my new mobile studio in the family’s home. A quick setup done at their home and we were off and running, taking photographs in the comfort of their own home. This made for a relaxed atmosphere allowing the models to really be themselves. Thanks for inviting me come make photos of your family, I can’t wait to capture more photos throughout the years to come.

The photos were taken using Einstein 640, Canon EOS 5D Mark II, PLM, Backdrop and Stands and a set of Pocket Wizzards.

Miss M. Senior Portraits

Miss M. was photographed in and around the Visalia Downtown area, on what was one of the hottest September days on record, due to the heat the locations had to be quickly accessed and photographs needed to be quickly taken so that none of us would melt. Images from the shoot turned out great and I wanted to post a link here for those who wish to view a current sample of my portrait work.

Football Homecoming Ceremony

The princesses and their prince’s, hopefully charming, were brought out to the center field mark with use of a very nice hot rod golf cart, while being announced by the previous Homecoming King and Queen from 2010. Each was given a brief introduction about who they are and their current year in high school at CVC and then after all were brought in each senior prince was given a board game box, the theme of the week being games, each with a rose in it, the queen was announced with one of the roses being blue.

Images from the evening ceremony can be found here, feel free to browse or purchase.

Senior Portraits

I was given the opportunity to photograph my neighbors son as they celebrated his graduation from high school. Here is a selection of the images taken during our short 1/2 hour photo session.

Weststeyn Family Portraits

I have come to know the Weststeyn family through the last couple years, photographing their son Mark and daughter Amy for their senior photographs and playing sports for CVC so I guess that it was only natural that I photograph the family when they all came together near the beginning of the summer. This is a sample of the images that we captured. What a beautiful family, I’ll miss you all.
