Damon’s Senior Portraits

Damon and Ms. S having known each other for so long came as a pair for their senior photographs, each taking their turn posing in the many area’s around Visalia that we visited. The rain just before and during the photographs made it fun for us all as we all enjoyed the rain and the sparkle that it added to the photographs.

Having Ms. S a friend of many years through Mt. Whitney high school along greatly lightened the mood and made every image fun. Many thanks to Ms. S and Damon.

BJ’s Senior Portraits

BJ and I had a great time talking about his hobbies and interests while taking his senior photographs, the highlight was taking photographs of him with his truck, which was supposed to be a lot more dirty than it turned out. Never before had I taken portraits with such a large prop.

BJ was one of the many senior’s that will be leaving the CVC Cavaliers this year and will leave a large gap for another player to fill next year as the Cavaliers start their football season, it’s always sad to see great players graduate, even more exciting though is watching players such as BJ develop into great football players over their four years in high school.

Though the day turned out to be a little cloudy I was happy with every single photograph that was taken, and can’t wait to help through the process of ordering the final images for print.

Ms. S. Senior Photographs

Ms. S ran around Visalia taking photographs in some amazingly beautiful places after a bit of rain. She was a complete doll to take photographs of every image was almost effortless for her to pose for just like Ms. W, I think honestly that girls just have it down after teasing all of the boys at school. Anyway here are the photographs, and a link for those that want to browse.

Ms. S. Senior Portraits

Ms. W. Senior Portraits

Ms. W. was very fun to photograph, we started the day off in the mountains just outside of Three Rivers at Lake Elowin Resort, which we were able to use due to the cool weather and afternoon vacancy, and then wound our way down the mountain roads back towards Visalia taking photographs at different locations. Many thanks to Ms. W. her great smile and wonderful demeanor while taking photographs. I look forward to our 2nd session.

Images of the session can be browsed here.

CVC Homecoming Court

Though the field was a bit soft for high-healed shoes and the use of a local Alfalfa field maybe a bit strange. I believe that the photographs of CVC’s Homecoming Court turned out wonderful. Thanks to everyone for prompt arrival and participation with regard to the taking of photographs.

Photographs of the CVC Homecoming Court can be found here. Please use the discount code of “HomeCC2010” to receive an extra 15% of photographs purchased by 11/7/2010.

Boys and Girls Club Harvest Moon

Photographs of the Boy’s and Girls Club Harvest Moon fund raiser are now available here.

I was invited to spend the evening with the staff and supporters of the Boys and Girls Club taking photographs of the “Harvest Moon Social Swirl” fundraiser event which included a Silent and Live auction, dinner catered by the Vintage Press and live music by Tyler Colburn. The event started with a very well hosted happy hour giving the attendee’s the chance to socialize, relax and view the silent auction items. After dinner the event really got started with the live auction, items which included dinner at the Orange Blossom Junction, a round of Golf at Spyglass Hill, and accommodations to various destinations through out California and neighboring states.

The final item for the night was the raffle for a very nice set Black Diamond Necklace donated by Browns Custom Jewelry, an item worth the wait. When all is said and done I am certain that the Boy’s and Girls Club of Tulare County will have the necessary resources to continue making a difference in the lives of children in Tulare county which was really the point of the entire evening.

Photographs of the Boy’s and Girls Club Harvest Moon fund raiser are now available here.

Baby Anahliese

You should never wake a sleeping baby, especially if you wish to photograph them. Born only days before this photograph was taken my newest niece slept through almost the complete session taking photographs of her. In case you are wondering about the peaches her family and extend family is very much into peaches. Additional photographs can be seen HERE.

All of the photographs taken of Anahliese were in the safety of her home with her parents assistance and ever watchful eye. Almost 1 month old now I can’t wait to get a second set of photographs and post theme here again.

If you are interested in having me photograph your children or infant head on over to my contact page, I’ll be happy to work with you.

2010 Kingsburg Dala Horse Trot Photographs

Opening with an electric guitar version of “The Star Spangled Banner” this years Kingsburg Swedish Festival Dala Horse Trot was held under much better conditions compared to the year prior. This years Dala Horse Trot competitors were blessed with a run held within the city limits and under mostly shaded streets.

Photographs of many finishing their race, 2 k walk, 2k run, or 10k run can be found here.
(Please note that photographs are sorted in the order of completion of the race.)

I attended again this year as an observer and took photographs of as many competitors as I could keep in focus.

This year I was also able to participate in the pancake breakfast at which they served Swedish pancakes, a type of crepe, a nice thin pancake with lots of flavor.

Perhaps next year I will also be able to hang around for the parade and a portion of the craft fair.

Bird and Davis Engagement Photos

Blessed to have beautiful people in my family I am asked a couple times per year to take photographs, this time it was an engagement session for my sister. Newly engaged, it was fun to be the photographer and fun to use some of the new backdrops that I have available to me at my new home here in Visalia.

Bird ad Davis

Congratulations Bird and Davis, I can’t wait to photograph your wedding.
