Though the course was wet and the weather threatened rain throughout the morning the Hensley Lake Tri-This du-athlon went off without an major injury. Photographs are now available here.
Starting with the young racers on a shortened course there was a race for everyone’s skill level. The event consisted of a trail running race followed by a mountain bike course. Tri-This was started by Brandon Dorman in hopes to inspire young athletes experience the benefits of a healthy life style.
The weather held out just long enough for the conclusion of the …
CVC Cavalier Men’s Varsity Team came out strong in their game against the Selma Bears winning the contest without much of a contest, the well practiced Cavalier’s run up and down the court making basket after basket.

Being on our way to a nice vacation weekend for our anniversary gave me perfect opportunity to take photographs of the Lady Cavaliers in an away game against the Coalinga Lady Horned Toads. Photographs of the game can be found here.
Congratulations to the Lady Cavaliers on a close win against the Lady Horned Toads, it was a great game to watch as it was possible any moment that the game could turn the other way. A great team effort was put forth by both teams and it was apparent in …
Under the leadership of coach Neal CVC’s women’s basket ball came out strong to the court ready to play the eagles, with the score always close enough it was anyone’s game. The women Cavaliers did wrap up the game in their favor, with the final couple of points moving the cavaliers out of reach of the Eagles being scored by #32.(name purposely omitted)

From the reception hall you would have never know that it wasn’t a ski lodge someplace in the alpines with all of the pine trees around the facility.
The wedding was completely an expression of themselves and the love that they share, wonderful to be apart of.

The last moonrise of 2009 was a blue moon, the moon came over the horizon just as the sun went down. It seemed so big as it came over the horizon that it would be possible to touch it or at least lasso it as in the ferry tails. Though the moon wasn’t it’s closest to earth it was quite a site to. I took the photograph seen here in two photographs, one to correctly expose the moon and the other to correctly expose the tree seen in front of …
