Varsity
Mt. Whitney Pioneer Volleyball vs. Redwood Rangers
I was again invited to come and photograph the Mt. Whitney Pioneers in a game against the Redwood Rangers, while the came didn’t afford the win that we all would have liked there was a lot of very good play between the two teams and great rally’s that ended in Redwood’s favor. The great play by both teams enabled me to take great photographs of the Mt. Whitney players.

A small selection of images available for viewing below.

CVC Lady Cavalier Volley Ball vs. Immanuel Eagles
Photographs of the game now available HERE.
In close matches against the Immanuel Eagles the CVC Lady Cavaliers came away with wins for both the JV and Varsity team on Thursday (Oct. 1, 2009). Photographs are available now from my Prints for sale Website.
Both the Lady Cavaliers and Eagles Junior Varsity team won 1 game in their match, taking the game to a third and final match to decide the winner. The third game in the match came down to just a couple of points with the Cavaliers winning the game and consequently the match. With such a tough set of games many in the crowd couldn’t wait to see how the Varsity teams would match up.
Varsity came out strong and took control of the floor quickly in the first game, this was however met with great resistance near the end as players on both sides got warmed up. After a couple of timeout meetings both teams fought hard with CVC’s Lady Cavaliers winning by only a couple of points in each of the 3 games played in the match.
CVC Cavalier Volleyball 2009-09-22
Photographs of the Lady Cavalier Volleyball game have now been posted to print for sale site and are available for purchase.
Arriving earlier than usual I was able to watch and photograph the Lady Cavalier Freshmen Volleyball team, working together they had already won one game and lost another. It their third game they weren’t able to hold of the Coalinga Lady Toad’s in their win but with the good leadership of their coach they were able to come away with some valuable lessons from their match.
The Junior Varsity Lady Cavs’ were able to dominate against the Coalinga Toad’s winning in two straight matches.
The Varsity Central Valley Christian Lady Cavaliers, with one of their starters out due to an ankle injury were still able to take control early in the first game in an almost astounding win over the Coalinga Lady Toad’s. Coming back from the first game the Toad’s put up a good fight staying close to the Lady Cav’s until late in the second game when the Cavaliers pulled away for the win. Final match proved they were taking advantage of the home court advantage allowing the team to work on game play and strategy.

CVC Cavalier Volleyball vs. Redwood Rangers
The Central Valley Christian High Cavaliers in their second match of the season took the Redwood Rangers in strait games Thursday night leaving no question who was the more dominant power on the court. It was good to be back behind the camera taking photographs for CVC as I had missed the action and excitement of sports through summer.
The Cavaliers’ Junior Varsity took only 2 games to win the match against the Redwood Ranger dominating the court. Through the season I look forward to seeing how this team will come together as there is great potential.
The Varsity match was very exciting, in parts, with Cavaliers and Rangers had good rally’s which ended only due to minor mistakes of the teams. Varsity ended up closing 3 straight games for an over all victory.
Photographs from the event found here, please enjoy.

CVC Cavalier Volleyball vs. Colinga Horned Toads
The Central Valley Christian Cavaliers pulled of a sensational win against the Coalinga Horned Toads on Thursday, October 16, 2008, allowing very few points and zero wins throughout the evening. Photographs taken throughout the evening can be viewed here.
Central Valley Christian Volleyball vs. Immanuel
Visalia’s Central Valley Christian Volleyball team took early command of the floor dominating the first 2 games of the match pitting rival CVC Cavaliers vs. Immanuel Eagles. Though the Cavaliers ended up loosing the match both teams worked hard for every point.
Photographs taken at the game can be seen here.
CVC Volleyball vs. Lemoore
The CVC Junior Varsity Volley ball team came out strong with a good performance against Lemoore through the first game, and though they went on to loose the match they showed their training and perseverance as a team. I hope that the Junior Varsity team can do better next time, photographs taken during the Junior Varsity Game can be found here: www.gallery.kjfphoto.com
The CVC Varsity Volley ball team also came out strong with an ace to start the match against Lemoore, during the first and second game CVC dominated the floor, consistently showing their team work and agile ability to go after the ball. In the third game CVC had some trouble dominating their opponent, though there were some very enjoyable rallies with both teams going all out to ensure as much as possible that it wasn’t their opponent that got the point. CVC opened the 4th game in the match trailing Lemoore but then came from behind with consistently good rallies to win the match.
