This year the rivalry football game Central Valley Christian High School (Visalia, Ca) vs. Immanuel Highschool (Reedley, Ca) was hosted in Visalia by the CVC Cavaliers. The football game was full of passion from the very beginning, each player giving their all in order to defeat the other side.
In the end though each had battled the other for the top they came together to pray for each other that they would continue to be a ministry to Visalia and Reedley their surrounding communities respectively. This was a change from what I would have expected from rivals and really a breath of fresh air, proving that rivals still can come together to pray for their ministry to the surrounding community.
