It is amazing the wonderful areas that can be found in your own home town for portraits that you wouldn’t normally think of. These photo’s, although taken of my sister for her College Senior photographs, were taken in and around the downtown area of Visalia, California. There were many more wonderful areas to choose from however due to limited time we settled on just a hand full. Although about 300 photographs were taken only about 140 made the cut.
A long time friend of mine through Battalion and his wife had a baby, and graciously allowed me to come over with my cameras and bright lights. To take infant photographs their new child. Below are samples of the photographs taken. Baby photography is a new venue for me as wedding and portrait photography up until these photographs had been my main thrust.
Today I had the opportunity to take my first set of portraits, these were senior portraits for someone that I had never met, I thought that it was going to be much more tough than it ended up being. I was contacted through work by someone that had happened to see my photographs on my personal photo site to take photographs of their high school senior.
