Chelsea + Everett Wedding

Though I wasn’t the main photographer, a second to Forrest Cavale, on this wedding I was encouraged to shoot as if I were a main in hopes that I would capture moments that wouldn’t have otherwise be captured. Throughout the day I was able to meet the groom, his family, bride and her family while they were prepping for the big event.

The biggest surprise, other than the ceremony and reception, for me was the Leyendekker ranch, I was able to go out to the ranch and meet the Groom, his family and his attendants. When I arrived they were all out at the stables looking at the beautiful horses riding a couple of others and just having a look around the dairy.

Once introductions were done at the Leyendekker ranch Everett sped of to get ready at the bride dress and grooms home in Tulare, that’s where we met up again, as a change in location the first look and wedding party shots were arranged to be photographed at the new Mr. and Mrs. Leyendekker home. As we waited for Chelsea to arrive and meet her groom we prepped for the entire wedding party. Everyone was in good spirits upon arrival and we quickly took photos of the wedding party before heading to the church, Trinity United Reformed Church of Visalia.

The get away vehicle for the day was a classic car.

CVC JV Lady Cavalier Soccer vs. Kingsburg

It’s not normal for me to post about the JV team, but I wanted to make a quick post about the JV team due to the fact that I was able to capture a team photograph of the JV Lady Cavalier Soccer team after their game against the Kingsburg Vikings. I will link directly to photographs of the team instead of the general game photographs. Perhaps next year we can get photographs of every sports team.

Photographs can be found here.

2010 Kingsburg Dala Horse Trot Photographs

Opening with an electric guitar version of “The Star Spangled Banner” this years Kingsburg Swedish Festival Dala Horse Trot was held under much better conditions compared to the year prior. This years Dala Horse Trot competitors were blessed with a run held within the city limits and under mostly shaded streets.

Photographs of many finishing their race, 2 k walk, 2k run, or 10k run can be found here.
(Please note that photographs are sorted in the order of completion of the race.)

I attended again this year as an observer and took photographs of as many competitors as I could keep in focus.

This year I was also able to participate in the pancake breakfast at which they served Swedish pancakes, a type of crepe, a nice thin pancake with lots of flavor.

Perhaps next year I will also be able to hang around for the parade and a portion of the craft fair.
