Bird and Davis were married on Friday, July 09, 2010 in a ceremony starting at just the right time, the mid-day heat had just broken in Paso Robles, California as their wedding started. Opening with an electric guitar version of “The Star Spangled Banner” this years Kingsburg Swedish Festival Dala Horse Trot was held under much better conditions compared to the year prior. This years Dala Horse Trot competitors were blessed with a run held within the city limits and under mostly shaded streets.

With the nice warm spring sun at their backs it was a wonderful day to be outside, and living in California’s Central Valley, and a great day for a softball game. Though the CVC Lady Cavalier Varsity Softball team had a hard time getting the runs necessary to beat Mission Oaks High both fans and athletes would have been hard pressed to find a better day to be on the softball diamond.
